A new talent agency working in film, television, radio and online.
About ATW
ATW works with a select group of talented professionals in order to give the best personal management service tailored to the needs of each individual.
Andrew Wilson has worked in the media industry for over ten years and brings a wealth of experience from all areas of production to his role as agent working across music, factual television and comedy. In a diverse world where the lines between genres are blurred and traditional commissioning and revenue streams are disappearing, each client benefits from this broad expertise and contact base developing alternative sources of revenue.
As well as representing and managing clients, Andrew also develops and produces a variety of projects across television, music, print media, the web and live performance, in the UK and worldwide.
A talent agent, as defined by Andrew Wilson in a moment of clarity, almost:
A talent agent may have his contacts, his immensely popular clients, his personable manner, his gift of the gab, but what really marks one agent from another is taste and judgement. I have to believe in the person or the project first and foremost, I then see how they can be best served to reap maximum rewards. Just as a record, a DVD collection or a bookshelf tells you something about the owner, so a client-list tells you something about the agent. My client list is a reflection of my taste, a reflection of who I am, what I think is good, what I think is worth investing time in. Not all my clients will be to everyone's taste, just as my records, DVDs and books may not be, but I'm proud to represent every one of them because first and foremost I like what they do.
If you've got talent and you think I'll like what you do too, whatever branch of entertainment you work in, do feel free get in touch.

Michael Spicer was born in Barking, Essex. Despite this setback at an early age, Michael persevered.
He started writing situation comedies at the age of 15 and received many kind letters of rejection from London Weekend Television. By 18 he was attracting the attentions of the BBC with his comedy plays. At the age of 19, Michael got a sketch onto the last ever series of Spitting Image - but they changed the punchline and so didnt pay him. He's not bitter.
After university, Michael began making short films. One was selected for the Raindance Film Festival, two received funding from the UK Film Council and another won Michael the Emerging Comedy Talent award at the 2008 Hamptons International Film Festival in New York. Michael's latest short film, How I Learned to Love Richard Gere, continues to be shown around the world at various festivals. Mr Gere's views on the film are unknown.
In 2003, Michael co-wrote and performed a play at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival entitled Soft Toys, set in a department store. The Scotsman described Michael as having 'a great gift for deadpan comedy' while Paramount Comedy called him 'a fine comedy actor'. A woman fainted in the front row once, although that may have had something to do with the lack of air conditioning rather than Michael's performance.
As well as being a freelance journalist for a variety of national publications, Michael has written and performed his own sketches for Channel 4 Radio's once-flagship comedy programme, Comedy Spinner, and appeared in an E4 comedy pilot entitled Lifeskills alongside a cast of young British comic talent.
He is currently developing a number of ideas including a situation comedy and a feature film, and during those bits of the day when he isn't tip-tapping on his iBook, Michael also records a video blog in the guise of social misfit Neil Devon.

James Hyman is the mash-up master. Whether Djing live, broadcasting across the airwaves or producing one of his infamous killer mix-tapes, James has always got a surprise for the discerning listener.
James began his career at MTV in 1988, just as dance music was sweeping the nation and Britain was in the throes of the second Summer of Love. As producer of MTV's dance music output in the UK for the next twelve years, James saw first hand and, in his own small way, helped shape the British dance music scene in the 90s, breaking records and interviewing artists long before they became household names.
Always keen to bring something new to his audience, James wanted to play the underground re-mixes of contemporary hits; easy enough in a club or on the radio, but not so easy when you need a video that doesn't exist. And so James's career as a video re-mixer was born, re-interpreting existing videos for the new versions of songs.
His mix tapes are the stuff of legend. In 2004 his James Bond-inspired promo CD was picked up on by the Daily Telegraph and made it into their Top 5 Albums of the Year! Tarantino says "OK, James Hyman knows more about music than me!", Kanye West called him "one of the illest DJs" he'd ever met - and who are we to argue?
Added to all this he's found time to present shows on Xfm, Channel 4 and the Sci-Fi Channel. He also puts his knowledge to good use as a regular guest expert and talking head on various terrestrial and satellite channels. He is currently producing a documentary for BBC Two about the song "My Way" with Paul Anka.
With an insane personal record and DVD collection of over 100,000 and 200,000 magazines, when it comes to popular culture there really is no one more qualified!
Kelly Anne Lyons
Kelly is an American actress best known for her tour de force performance as the eponymous character in the online sitcom Chelsey: OMG!
Produced by renowned comedy production company Channel X, Chelsey: OMG! follows the trials and tribulations of a young American girl trying to make her way in the London fashion scene. The series was launched on social networking site Bebo in October 2008 and thanks to Kelly's charm, 100-mile-an-hour delivery and natural comic timing it soon scored 2m views.
Chelsey speaks the language of the new breed of "frat girl" and has introduced the world to some of the more ludicrous acronyms in the English vernacular. So if you don't know your ATBF (All-Time Best Friend) from your NWE (New Worst Enemy) it's about time you checked it out...

STOP PRESS: ATW is pleased to announce that Jamie Rickers will be the face of Nickelodeon UK's summer schedule. Along with long-time co-host Anna Williamson, the popular duo will front the U-Pick Summer show daily throughout July and August.
Jamie Rickers is best known for ITV's number 1 weekend show Toonattik. He is also renowned for his inimitable stints on GMTV, CiTV's Prove It, The Yuk Show and a whole host of film specials. Needless to say Jamie Rickers is recognised by every child in the UK!
Jamie's TV career started out from humble beginnings with the classic and inspiring tale of tea-room to the TV studio. Jamie finally got his break in 2000 when he joined GMTV and presented the popular weekend kids show Up On The Roof for 5 years.
Jamie also landed the role of presenter on CBBC's game show All or Nothing and in March 2003 he became presenter on CiTV's factual entertainment programme, The Yuk Show. Jamie now counts presenting Prove It for CiTV and Ultimate Guinness World Records - still showing on Sky and internationally - and UP 4 IT for Discovery Kids as part of his vast presenting CV. More recently, Jamie has gone back to his Drama roots, appearing in Panto for the past three years.
But pushing the boundaries has occasionally found Jamie making the news as well as children's television. In March 2008 he made headlines when he appeared 'naked' on screen during an episode of Toonattik while explaining the story of the Emperor's New Clothes, causing mums everywhere to spill their muesli. Then in January 2010 he made the national press again (and the "And Finally..." on News at Ten) when he was held under anti-terror laws whilst filming a segment of the show on the South Bank in a flat jacket and brandishing a blue sparkly hairdryer!
The Blowfish
He has variously been described as a "Nutkins for now" and the "bastard offspring of Steve Irwin and Ozzy Osborne" - but all we know is he's the heavy metal-loving marine biologist The Blowfish!
The son of a respected veterinary surgeon The Blowfish learnt the value and beauty of animals from a young age and now he devotes himself to teaching the wonder of wildlife and the importance of conservation to young people. Most recently he appeared on Blue Peter, introducing presenters Andy & Joel to some of the exotic creatures found along the Amazon river.
The subject closest to his heart, of course, is the sea. As a fully trained BSAC Diver and PADI Dive Master, The Blowfish knows all too well the perilous state of our oceans. The latest research suggests the coral reefs could die out completely in the next quarter of a century. But The Blowfish isn't just going to swim by and let that happen.
Our guitar-slinging natural history hero is a merman of action, ready to get up close and personal with nature's most remarkable creations - from swimming with sharks to getting stung by scorpions, The Blowfish knows no bounds in his pursuit for knowledge and understanding of the world around us.
The Blowfish, a.k.a. Tom Hird, is a contributor to Marine World Magazine and presents educational films for The Shark Trust., a charity that works for the conservation of sharks
Fran Bate
Fran is an enthusiastic science translator and presenter, and a far cry from your typical scientist. Annoyed by the constant over-complication of science Fran draws on her knowledge (1st Class MSci Neuroscience) to convert science for the masses, making it not only jargon-free, accessible and accurate, but also bringing entertainment and excitement to the subject. She made her screen debut in 2010 presenting a quirky maths series for Teachers TV, having previously worked as a Science Consultant on various programmes including Horizon, Bang Goes the Theory, Richard Hammond's Blast Lab and Engineering Connections.
Fran has developed her presenting style over many years of presenting live shows at the Science Museum, researching, writing and then performing workshops, tours and shows to explain subjects from bogie formation to Space travel. She also co-hosted with Richard Hammond the Blast Lab Live in conjunction with the book launch, for which she was also the science consultant.
In addition, Fran also works alongside Nick Arnold, the author of the Horrible Science series. Not only does Fran assist in the gruesome research needed for these books, but she also presents the Live Horrible Science Show which is taken out to schools nationwide.
In the past she has worked as the Science Adviser on the Paul O'Grady Show, and has written and performed as the 'Big Brain' on BBC7's Big Toe Radio Show.
